Growing Melbourne's north: developing an integrated economy
“Growing Melbourne’s North – developing an integrated economy” was jointly commissioned by the NACC and NORTH Link/NIETL as part of the “Melbourne’s North: the best for business” campaign completed in 2003.
It sets an overall goal and a number of benchmarks and outlines actions that will improve the economy of the northern region as a whole. The actions have been grouped under broad headings; however, they are connected and inter-related. It identifies and recommends the development of strategies that will lead to enhanced social outcomes, industry development, employment growth and improved infrastructure.
